1-19 Moroni provides the reader with the words of his father, Mormon, concerning the difference between good and evil.

20-34 Mormon explains how it is possible to “lay hold upon every good thing.” That process includes faith in Christ, repentance from sin, and be baptized in the name of Christ.

35-39 Mormon says that if miracles have ceased it is because faith in Christ has ceased.

40-48 Mormon explains how faith in Christ leads to hope for a glorious resurrection which leads to charity – the pure love of Christ. He explains how we all may become the “sons of God.”
